Physician Assistants who received Schedule II Prescribing Authority

Authority is granted only for the specific drugs listed on the licensee's Schedule II application.

The Board has defined 4 types of prescribing authority. They are:

• Type 1: Pain*
• Type 2: ADHD/Psychiatric**
• Type 3: Pain* & ADHD/Psychiatric**

* Pain – May prescribe for Acute Pain with limited quantity (two-week supply) prescriptions without documented supervising MD review; for Chronic Pain with renewal prescriptions only.

** ADHD/Psychiatric – May prescribe with renewal prescriptions only.
